RODRIGOVELARDE
Super Power: I deconstruct the complex. Whether it’s breaking down a high-level athletic movement into manageable drills, dense training theories into simple steps, or turning an intimidating lifestyle change into tiny, actionable habits. I make the "impossible" feel doable.

Background: I’ve been a dedicated student of physical culture for nearly two decades, coaching people of all ages and abilities since 2009. My obsession with understanding how the body works has led me across the country to learn from world-class coaches and therapists. To deepen my hands-on understanding of human mechanics and further help people to improve their movement, I also became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2023. I don’t just collect certifications, though—I live to pass that knowledge on to you.
Beliefs: Stagnation is the enemy and growth is a multi-dimensional game: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. But it all lives or dies with your mindset. If you aren’t committed to the work, the best program in the world won’t save you. Once your mind is made up, we take action. The goal isn’t perfection; it’s simply being a little better than you were yesterday.

THEMISSION
The standard is broken.
We often measure our progress against the "average." But in the world of health and fitness, the average is subpar. Today, the average person is struggling with weakness and preventable disease. We’ve been conditioned to accept "just okay" as the goal, while obesity, chronic fatigue, and physical limitation become the norm.
I’m not here to help you just beat the average; I’m here to help us raise it.
I believe in a world where being strong, mobile, and resilient isn't the exception—it’s the baseline. I want to see a new standard where adults of any age can crawl, jump, sprint, lift, and play like a kid without a second thought.

Don’t settle for the status quo. Join me, and let’s Raise The Average.

THESYSTEM
Change requires two things: the stimulus to grow (Burn) and the space to recover (Breathe).

Most people are stuck in a "Burn" loop—juggling work, family, relationships, and the environment until they are physically and mentally taxed, like an overdrawn bank account. When you're constantly in "Fight or Flight," your body won't respond to exercise as efficiently; it just survives it.

This is where applying breathing, mindset, and the better movement techniques can do wonders. Calming our bodies and being able to achieve a parasympathetic state - rest, recover, rebuild - will lead us to achieve better performance in all aspects of life; repaying the debt from the burn.

Our main focus with physical training is to feed the body the type of stress we want it to adapt to without doing more harm. This revolves around training power - the number one attribute we lose as we age, strength - power's first cousin, and better coordinated, athletic movement. But we can't jump into complexity without building a solid movement foundation.

Living longer isn't enough. Nobody wants to be OLD for many years. We want to feel YOUNG for most of our lives.
